Exercises

Dynamic Form

DF01: Draw a scene in 300x300 resolution containing two ellipses, four lines and one rectangle. Use only two colors for the shapes. The background should be a different color.

DF02: Draw a scene in 400x400 containing three ellipses in different colors. The ellipses should have different alpha values. The background should be a different color from the shapes.

DF03: Use loop() and two variables to animate an ellipse and three lines.

DF04: Animate three circles according to the movement of the mouse.

DF05: Create an animated form that communicates the idea of "order".

DF06: Create an animated form that communicates the idea of "chaos".

DF07: Create an interactive form that communicates the idea of "order from chaos". Use methods.

Behavior

BE01: Create two characters that move randomly on the stage. One should be mechanical, one should be organic.

BE02: Create a world with either obstacles or physical forces. Have three characters interact with each other and the world.

Gesture

GE01: Write a program that stores the user's cursor movement and creates an aesthetic embellishment of that gesture. Avoid linear translations - no simple "drawing tools". Use time as a function by storing the time corresponding to the mouse movement. Time could also be used to affect other shapes.
