Code as creative process - Atmosferas/LIS - October 2004
Day 1: Computational form & composition - slide 02

Dynamic & computational form

A computational form is created through the application of an algorithm, described as a clearly defined series of operations. It is typically parametric, meaning that its appearance and behavior is controlled by the use of a set number of parameters.

A dynamic form is a form that changes in time or in response to interaction.

Essential aspects to consider:
- Algorithm
- Time aspect
- Interactivity
- Parameters
- Control vs. randomness
