UdK - Principles of computational design - Fall 2003
Day 2: Behavior - slide 02

How to apply behavior

Consider aspects of human behavior:
- Body language
- Facial expression
- Change of facial color (as in anger or sickness)

Consider artificial behavior from cartoons:
- Grow big or small
- Change color
- Change type of movement
- Explode / melt / do something impossible

Exaggeration is often more useful than subtlety, especially since subtlety then becomes even more surprising.
